Air Deccan leads in services offered to South India
(CAPA): Air Deccan reports the largest number of services operating in South India.

There are currently 350 daily services and 65 destinations on the Air Deccan network, out of which 95 daily services and 19 destinations are within South India. These statistics include services only within the South and do not include sevices going out or coming from other regions.

Ramki Sundaram, CEO of Air Deccan, states “Air Deccan not only connects to the metro cities in Southern India but also connects smaller cities with economic, historical and religious importance in the region. Air Deccan offers the largest seat inventory in South India, close to 240,000 seats a month. We carried approximately 190,000 passengers in the month of May 2007 within the destinations in South India alone... exploring options to open up new destinations in the region and aims to fly to Mysore, Salem and Agatti in the near future.”
