UNITED ARAB EMIRATES :
In response to increasing seasonal demand for low-cost services to Goa, Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, announced today that it will now offer five weekly flights between the carrier's hub in Sharjah, UAE, and Goa, India.

Air Arabia announced (10-Mar-09) that it will launch service to the Indian city of Goa beginning 16-Apr-09. Roundtrip flights will operate three times per week between Dabolim International Airport in Goa and Air Arabia’s hub in Sharjah. Upon commencing service, Air Arabia will be the only UAE-based international carrier to offer direct flights to Goa from the UAE.

Air Arabia announced on 13-Jan-08 that it will establish a new hub in the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, providing the Sharjah-based LCC with a platform from which to serve markets stretching across South and Central Asia, the Far East, Middle East and Indian Subcontinent. This announcement follows the signing of a joint venture agreement between Air Arabia and Yeti Airlines, the market leader in domestic air travel in Nepal and approval from Nepal Government’s Department of Industries.
