Emirates Airline will be stepping up its presence in Bangladesh with the introduction of three additional flights per week to Dhaka, starting 01- Feb-09. The additional services will bring Emirates’ weekly operation to 17 flights and add over 800 seats per week on the Dubai-Dhaka route (one direction).

Emirates Airline and Jet Airways have announced (11-Dec-08) plans to enter a unilateral code share agreement and a reciprocal frequent flyer arrangement. Effective 15-Dec-08, Emirates will unilaterally code share on Jet Airways’ daily flights from Mumbai and New Delhi to Dubai, giving travellers connectivity and an expanded range of services between India and Dubai.

Emirates will add frequencies to India’s capital city, New Delhi, and IT hubs, Bangalore and Hyderabad, increasing its services to India to 132 flights per week the highest frequency for an international carrier in the Indian skies.
