On the eve of the World Route Development Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Tiger Airways announced (10-Oct-08) that its delegation will be in discussions with airports from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Cambodia and Australia as it seeks to extend its reach in the Asia-Pacific region.

(CAPA) Tiger Airways received (05-Jun-07) Indian Government approval to launch services from Singapore to six Indian cities, two of which have no direct services at present:
-
Chennai: Served daily by Singapore Airlines and Jet Airways and twice daily by Indian Airlines;
- Kochi: Served daily by SilkAir;
- Goa: No direct connection;
- Thiruvananthapuram: Served four times weekly by SilkAir;
- Kozhikode: No direct connection;
- Kolkata: Served four times weekly by Singapore Airlines.
