Pakistan International Airlines aumenta sus vuelos entre Istambul y Leeds


Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced (20-Mar-09) that their non-stop service to Islamabad from Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) will increase from two to three times a week from 30-Mar-09.

PAKISTAN : Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is introducing service to Stansted, London. The carrier will start its twice weekly service from Lahore and Islamabad with two-class A310 from 29-Mar-09. PIA, also announced the inauguration of direct service to Katmandu from Islamabad joining the two capitals.

PAKISTAN : Pakistan International Airlines: The financial health of the airline has progressively deteriorated so that today the situation has reached alarming proportions. PIA is losing over USD660,000 every single day! The money that our shareholders had given us is all gone; and, in fact, we are living on bank borrowings. These losses are not sustainable and a normal company with such losses would have been declared bankrupt and shut down.
