Following the Government’s appointment of Shri Y.S. Bhave as Chairperson, Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) on 17-Jun-2009, the Ministry of Civil Aviation on 25-Jun-2009 has issued orders to the effect.
The appointment will be for a period of five years from the date of taking charge of the post or till the age of 65 years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
An officer of the Indian Administrative Service of the 1972 batch of Maharashtra Cadre, Shri Bhave is presently working as Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
