Hyderabad awards inflight catering concession to LSG Sky Chefs and Gate Gourmet

The concessions involve financing, constructing, operating and maintaining inflight catering facilities at Hyderabad International Airport, which is expected in 1H08. Meanwhile, HIAL announced (12-Sep-06) plans to establish an Airport Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) on 250 acres of land within the airport.

HIAL also announced it is considering including automatic flight information displays, baggage reconciliation systems and Wi-Fi connectivity across the airport, as well as high-tech security features, such as biometric access control and a mobile check-in system.
