Kingfisher orders more aircraft, awards inflight system contract
Kingfisher Airlines, a start-up Indian domestic carrier, ordered (19 February) three A319s, on top of previous orders for ten A320s with options for 20 more.

Meanwhile, Kingfisher has selected (15 February) Thales Avionics to supply inflight entertainment systems for its fleet of A320 aircraft. The system will offer passengers five video and ten audio channels, however Kingfisher has decided not to introduce live TV. Kingfisher plans to launch services in May 2005 with four A320s leased from debis Airfinance.
