Delhi Airport to upgrade ATC services

Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) is reportedly in negotiations (18-May-06) with the UK's National Air Traffic Services, Airservices Australia and German ATC provider, DFS.
These negotiations are for consultancy services to improve air traffic control systems at Delhi Airport. Meanwhile, DIAL has reportedly hired Mott MacDonald Group a INR600 million contract to provide technical advice for the modernisation of Delhi Airport. A Master Plan is expected to be completed in six months. Meanwhile, Mott MacDonald awarded HOK International a contract to provide architectural design for the airport. In addition, DIAL also hired the Indian Institute of Technology to improve both passenger and automobile traffic flow at the airport. |
