Ameco Beijing signed an overhaul agreement with Air India Express to conduct C Checks on 9 Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Air India Express. The first aircraft will be delivered to the facility of Ameco Beijing in mid September.
It is Ameco Beijing’s first time to perform airframe overhaul service for Indian customer’s Boeing 737 NG aircraft.
Ameco Beijing has even provided the airframe overhaul service for Air India. Teng Bin, Regional Director of Sales International of Ameco Beijing stated that the all-around strength of Ameco Beijing in MRO field was the reason for the selection.
Ameco Beijing, located in Beijing Capital International Airport, is a joint venture between Air China (60%) and Lufthansa German Airlines (40%) established in 1989. It provides MRO services for airframe, engines and components of commercial aircraft. It also offers services in training, engineering and logistics, as well as tooling calibration for China’s entire aviation industry.
